FAQ
Questions, answered
Is it really free?
Yes. A free account comes with 100 credits and 10 more every day. Reading a statement and downloading the CSV does not use credits; credits are spent only when you finalize transactions into books you want to keep.
Which banks work?
Any bank that issues a statement. See the bank list for download instructions for Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Amex, Capital One and 30 more.
Can I convert to OFX or other accounting import formats?
CSV is the export format, which Xero, Wave and every spreadsheet import. If you are converting statements to feed another ledger, consider skipping that step: the categorized books are already here.
How accurate is the extraction?
Opening and closing balances on the statement are checked against the extracted transactions, so you know immediately if anything was missed. Scans and photos work when the text is legible.
Stop estimating. Know your real numbers.
Upload your bank statements and ProfitBooks builds the profit and loss these calculators are guessing at. 100 free credits to start, $20 a month, billed annually, after that.
