Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. This page parses the CSV in your browser with JavaScript. Nothing is sent to a server. The ProfitBooks product is different: there you upload statements so the AI can read PDFs and keep your books over time.
Which CSV formats work?
Any file with a date, description and amount column, or separate debit and credit columns. Headers are detected automatically. If your bank exports spending as positive numbers, tick the box.
How accurate is the categorization?
This demo uses about 30 keyword rules, so expect roughly two thirds of a typical statement to land in the right category. ProfitBooks uses your industry, vendor databases and your past corrections, with a confidence score on every line, and does far better.
Can I do this from a PDF statement?
